The statement condemned in the strongest terms the “barbaric and heinous crimes” committed by Israel against the defenseless Palestinian people. It emphasized that international protection and aid such as medical aid must continue uninterruptedly for the Palestinian people.

The statement also stated that the struggle to defend the rights of the Palestinian people and to establish an independent Palestinian state is legitimate.

While it was stated that Israel must be held accountable to the international community for the crimes it has committed in Palestinian territories, it was emphasized that the occupying forces continue to violate human rights with their plans to annex the West Bank and Jerusalem.

The statement said that the occupying forces were responsible for unjust practices such as settler attacks and the expansion of settlements.
