Brik said that if Israel launches a preemptive strike, settlements, power plants, gas stations, industrial infrastructure and military bases will be exposed to thousands of rocket and drone attacks every day. Stating that this situation seriously threatens the position of the Israeli army, Brik said, “The Israeli army cannot respond to a regional war on its own, nor can it defend its national infrastructure.”
Brik explained that any preemptive strike against Iran and Hezbollah would definitely lead to a regional war, but if the response from these groups was mild, the possibility of a regional war was not certain. In any case, he was stressed that the Israeli army could not fight a regional war alone, that the army’s resistance power was limited and therefore needed US help.
