Israeli Occupation of Gaza
The occupying Israeli army, which has been committing great atrocities in Gaza for over nine months, continues its massacres while continuing to ceasefire and prisoner exchange talks with Hamas.
The occupation army, which launched a ground operation in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood and Industrial Street in the Gaza city center a week ago, left destruction and death behind as it drew from the area yesterday. The bodies of Palestinians killed by occupational soldiers were left in the streets during the attack, in which some families were completely killed.
Bodies in the Streets
The Palestinian Civil Defense Organization in Gaza announced that search and rescue teams have begun work in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood and Industrial Street following the withdrawal of the occupation army. The statement said that they found 60 bodies in the streets and inside houses so far, and that some of the bodies were torn apart and some were burned.
They Burned It Down Before They Drew
Civil defense teams also provided information about the destruction caused by the occupying Israeli army, and reported that armored vehicles were not used in the attack due to the debris of buildings demolished by the invaders in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood and on Industrial Street.
Snipers Shoot Palestinians
Last week, the Israeli army dropped leaflets in the city center of Gaza asking civilians to evacuate the area. Civilians who tried to leave the city before the attacks gathered at the Maliya and Al-Azhar intersections around the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood because they could not find a safe place.
Attacks Continue
The Israeli army forces, who committed great savagery in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, continued their attacks on various parts of Gaza yesterday. The army occupation launched artillery fire, air strikes and tank fire on Rafah and Khan Younis in the south, as well as Maghraq in the north, Nusayrat Camp in the central part and the Gaza city center.
Tel Al-Hawa is not the first
Since the start of the ground operation in Gaza in November 2023, Israeli forces have carried out numerous massacres similar to the one in Tel al-Hawa. In December, the Israeli army launched a ground operation in Jibaliya Camp, destroying it. In April, Israeli forces launched a ground operation in Khan Younis, executing hundreds of Palestinians in Nasser Hospital there and burying them in mass graves.
