Israeli Army Warns Khan Younis Neighborhoods
In a statement he made on the social media platform X, Army Spokesperson Avichay Adraee issued a serious warning to residents of some neighborhoods in the Khan Younis region of Gaza. Adraee particularly drew the attention of those living in the neighborhoods of Jurt al-Lut, al-Menara, Maan, Kizan al-Najjar, Kizan Abu Rüşwan, al-Salam and al-Hashash.
“Hamas and other terrorist organizations have started to launch missile attacks on Israel from your areas again. This seriously threatens the security situation in the region. The Israeli army will take action against these elements in the coming days. Therefore, you should immediately evacuate these areas and go to humanitarian areas,” Adraee said.
The Israeli army had previously announced that five missiles were fired from Khan Younis near the southern Israeli city of Askalan. The increase in such attacks increases tension in the region and endangers the safety of civilians.
