Israeli Army Denies Assassination Allegations Against Haniyeh
Zionist Israeli Army Spokesperson Daniel Hagari made important statements about the latest developments at a press conference. Hagari spoke about the alleged assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh on July 31, and he clearly denied the speculations on this subject.
Hagari stated that they carried out only one airstrike in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, between July 30 and July 31. Hagari stated that the target of this attack was Fuad Shukur, one of the senior commanders of Hezbollah, “On Tuesday night (July 30) we hit Lebanon and killed Fuad Shukur in a precise airstrike. I want to emphasize, there were no other airstrikes, missiles or Israeli drones in the Middle East that night.”said.
In this airstrike on July 30, a key Hezbollah commander was killed. The assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran shortly after the attack increased tensions in the region. Iran and Hamas claimed that Israel was behind the assassination of Haniyeh, while the Tel Aviv government refrained from commenting on the matter. This sparked debate in the international community and further complicated the security situation in the region.
