The Israeli army announced that it has approved the “operational plan” against a possible attack on Lebanon, while the tension with Hezbollah continues. The seriousness of the security situation in the region and the increase in risks were effective in making this decision.

It was stated that the Commander of the Israeli Army Northern Command, Major General Ori Gordin, and the Head of the Operations Department, Major General Oded Basyuk, approved the “operational plan” to accelerate preparations against a possible attack scenario against Lebanon. With this approval, it was decided to take steps to increase preparations in the field.

The escalation of tension in the region known as the “Blue Line” on the Israel-Lebanon border has reached alarming levels. According to the statements made by Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari, Hezbollah’s recent increasing attacks against Israel increase the concern that a large-scale escalation may occur in the region.
