The Prisoners and Releasees Committee of the Palestinian Prisoners Society and the Palestine Liberation Organization made an important statement regarding the night raids and detentions carried out by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank. According to the statement, Israeli soldiers carried out raids in various cities such as Hebron, Bethlehem, Jenin, Tubas, Ramallah, Qalqilya and Nablus. As a result of these raids, at least 16 Palestinians were detained.
The statement noted that the number of Palestinians detained since October 7, 2023 has reached 9,970. This situation follows a parallel course with the increase in detentions, raids and attacks against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
Since October 7, when Israel launched its offensive on the Gaza Strip, there has been a significant increase in attacks in the occupied territories. During this period, 606 Palestinians lost their lives and more than 5,000 Palestinians were injured as a result of attacks by Israeli soldiers and Israelis occupying Palestinian lands.
