The Paris 2024 Olympic Games made our national athletes hit the agenda not only with the degrees they achieved, but also with the ‘cool poses’ shared on social media. Especially the national shooter Yusuf Dikec , attracted attention by winning the silver medal with his hand in his pocket without using any equipment. The youngest athlete in the national team participating in the Olympics was 16-year-old Kuzey Tunçelli, while the most experienced was 51-year-old Yusuf Dikeç. Our national swimmer Kuzey Tunçelli finished his heat in first place with a big difference in the men’s 1500-meter freestyle heats with a time of 14:45.27. National athlete Ersu Şaşma , He passed the 5.40, 5.60, 5.70 and 5.75 rights in the first attempt and made his name among the best 12 athletes. Our National Women’s Volleyball Team managed to lock the audience to their screens by advancing to the quarter finals at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The national athlete, whose statue was previously erected with her iconic pose Eda Erdem , also received great appreciation for her successful save in the match against the Dominican Republic.
