In his latest statements, AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik condemned the Israeli Foreign Minister’s words towards President Erdoğan, saying, “Just like the expressions used by Hitler’s Nazi foreign minister, these are expressions that amount to a crime against humanity and reveal warmongering.”
Çelik stated that President Erdoğan has faced many threats throughout his political life and said, “The politics our President pursues in the name of truth disturbs them. They will be held accountable before history and the law.”
CHP’s Tan’s ‘Blue Homeland dream’ words
Ömer Çelik criticized CHP member Namık Tan’s words towards the Blue Homeland and said, “He used expressions attacking the Blue Homeland in this speech. We condemned this wrong approach. We waited for a certain period of time in line with our principles on such issues, but there was no correction.”
Çelik stated that Namık Tan’s statements were met with enthusiasm in the Greek and Greek Cypriot press and called on the CHP, saying, “Attacks against the Blue Homeland are unacceptable.”
