In the statement made by Hakkari Governorship, it was announced that a successful operation was carried out by Hakkari Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams to capture the wanted persons between 8 and 26 June 2024.

Within the scope of the operation, a total of 57 people who were wanted for various crimes were identified and detained. The captured individuals were referred to judicial authorities. As a result of the investigations, 14 people were arrested and handed over to Hakkari Closed Penal Institution.
