Agenda of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey
The Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) will start its work on Tuesday, June 25, after the Eid al-Adha holiday. The prominent issue at the General Assembly this week will be the discussion of the bill that proposes amendments to the Capital Markets Law, which includes regulations regarding crypto assets. Within the scope of the proposal, new regulations will be introduced for crypto asset service providers to obtain permission and conduct their activities.
Legislative Studies
In addition, it is expected that this week in the Turkish Grand National Assembly, the bill regarding the 9th Judicial Package and the Teaching Profession Law proposal, which includes regulations regarding the teaching profession, will be presented to the Presidency of the Parliament. The regulations in the 9th Judicial Package, which came to the fore with discussions on “agent of influence”, and the changes in the Teaching Profession Law will be closely followed.
Commissions and Meetings
Group meetings in the Turkish Grand National Assembly will take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The Digital Media Commission will meet on Tuesday, June 25, and Google Information Technologies Limited Company will make a presentation. Likewise, the Human Rights Investigation Commission will meet on Wednesday, June 26, and the Ministry of Health will provide information about the health services provided to convicts and details.
