The fuel increase, which was postponed following the intervention by the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK), will come into force on Monday, June 24. According to industry sources, there will be an increase in gasoline and diesel prices with the new price hikes .
Details of Raises:
- Gasoline:The liter price will increase by 2 lira and 1 kuruş.
- Diesel:The liter price will increase by 1 lira and 69 kuruş.
According to the new regulation, which is above the expected increase, an increase of 1 lira 64 kurus per liter of gasoline and 1 lira 63 kuruş for diesel is envisaged.

How Are Fuel Prices Calculated?
While determining gasoline and diesel prices in Turkey, the refinery sales price excluding VAT is calculated by adding SCT and EMRA share to the duty-free refinery price. The duty-free refinery price is determined by following the daily CIF Mediterranean product prices in the Mediterranean-Italian market and the daily dollar exchange rate.
