Fire in Furniture Workshop in İkitelli!
The fire broke out at around 02:30 in the Keresteciler Industrial Site in the Organized Industrial Zone in İkitelli Neighborhood. Flames started to rise in a two-story furniture workshop for an unknown reason.
Residents of the area who saw the thick smoke rising from the shop immediately reported the situation to the fire department, health and police teams. Firefighters who arrived at the scene had to cut the closed shutters with a saw in order to intervene in the fire.
The fire was brought under control after a two-hour fight with the help of additional firefighters from surrounding districts. However, the workshop suffered extensive damage after the fire.
Fire crews carried out cooling operations at the workplace for a long time after the fire. A detailed investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire.
