The fire occurred at around 10:30 in the Evliya Çelebi Neighborhood of the Tuzla district of Istanbul. According to the lawsuit, a fire broke out for an unknown reason at a workplace that manufactures yachts. The fire quickly engulfed the entire facility. Workers and nearby citizens who noticed the incident immediately notified the fire department.
Fire, police and health teams were quickly dispatched to the scene upon notification. Numerous teams from Tuzla and surrounding districts were mobilized to respond to the fire. Fire crews brought the fire under control after approximately 1 hour of intensive work. While there were no casualties or injuries in the fire, serious damage occurred to the workplace. Police teams have launched an investigation to investigate the cause of the fire.
