A Fire broke out in Bucak, Burdur
The fire, which occurred in Kestel village of Bucak district, started in the field and spread to the barn of a house. While the flames destroyed a thousand hay bales in the fire, the animals in the barn were rescued.
The incident took place in the field near the house belonging to A.Ü. The fire, which started for an undetermined reason, quickly grew and affected the barn and hay bales. Those who noticed the fire immediately evacuated the animals and reported the situation by calling the 112 Emergency Call Center.
While the fire brigade and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene, the fire was taken under control and extinguished as a result of the intervention of the fire brigade. However, approximately a thousand hay bales, barns, tractor trailers, small work machines and beehives were damaged in the fire.
While an investigation was launched into the cause of the fire, it was a pleasing development that there was no loss of life in the incident.
