The accident occurred on Vali Ozan Street on the evening of July 14. The vehicle driven by Nurullah Çiçek hit İbrahim Halil Bumanhan and Orhan Kemal Duva, who were trying to cross the road from the pedestrian crossing. The children unfortunately lost their lives in the hospital they were taken to.
