A group of 30 experts, including United Nations (UN) Special Rapporteurs, called on Israel to stop arms supplies. The group called out to arms manufacturers at a time when Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip have been continuing for 258 days, emphasizing that they could be involved in human rights violations and violations of international law.
Experts have warned that if arms sales continue, arms manufacturers could become complicit in violations of human rights and international law. “These companies run the risk of contributing to serious violations of international human rights and international humanitarian law by supplying weapons, parts, components and ammunition to Israeli forces,” the group said.
