Trabzon University Artificial Intelligence Engineering Department is opening its doors to 40 students. Dr. Lecturer Özge Aydoğdu, who is excited about the new department starting education, stated that they are ready to undertake important studies in the field of artificial intelligence with their young and dynamic academic staff.
“We aim to instill artificial intelligence with interdisciplinary studies and to develop our department and the city of Trabzon. Trabzon University has a great social integrity with its departments in various fields such as sports sciences, tourism and education faculty. This richness will add a new dimension to our artificial intelligence studies.”
Emphasizing that they closely follow global trends in the field of artificial intelligence, Dr. Lecturer Samet Aymaz stated that artificial intelligence, which is widely used especially in sectors such as health and sports, is now encountered in every field.
The Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering is the first department established in the Eastern Black Sea Region. The department, where experienced names such as Dr. Aymaz, Dr. Ture, Dr. Alp, Dr. Doğan and research assistant Oğuzhan Topal will guide students, aims to prepare students for the sector by making strategic collaborations with Trabzon Teknokent, industrialists and chambers.
“We will work closely with the industry to graduate our students equipped in the field of artificial intelligence. In this way, our students will be able to produce effective solutions to the problems they will encounter in real life.”
Setting out to train future leaders in the field of artificial intelligence, Trabzon University Artificial Intelligence Engineering Department aims to offer its students a unique educational experience.
