(DÜZCE) – Akçakoca, known as Düzce’s gateway to the Black Sea, suspended its sea enjoyment due to adverse weather and sea conditions. Swimming was prohibited in Akçakoca throughout the weekend. In the statement made by Akçakoca District Governorate, it was stated that it was dangerous to swim in all beaches and beaches in the district between 22-23 June. With this decision taken for the safety of citizens, lifeguard teams constantly give warnings.
The beaches were left empty due to the effect of the waves of the Black Sea. Lifeguards constantly warn citizens not to swim in the sea through a megaphone. In Akçakoca, where sea pleasure is postponed to the next day, citizens are informed by prioritizing security.
