Musk’s Statement on DDOS Attack
Elon Musk shared on his X account, “We have detected a major DDOS attack on the X platform. We are currently working hard to stop it. If the situation worsens, we will continue our program with a smaller number of live listeners and will release the unedited version of the recording later.”
Musk emphasized that the system had been tested with 8 million simultaneous listeners before, and stated that the broadcast with Trump would start later than planned due to technical issues. He also announced that they decided to continue the broadcast with fewer listeners and that they would present this recording to listeners in the future.
DDOS (Distributed Denial-of-Service) attacks are a method of targeting a system and bombarding it with data beyond certain capacity limits. These types of attacks aim to prevent users from accessing the system or website and usually cause service interruption.
