A celebration program was organized in Taş Madrasa under the leadership of Afyonkarahisar Governor Kübra Güran Yiğitbaşı, with the participation of the provincial protocol and citizens. At the celebration ceremony, Governor Yiğitbaşı emphasized unity and solidarity and said, “As Afyonkarahisar, we are all a family.”
Governor Yiğitbaşı touched upon the importance of the holidays and said, “May God perpetuate our unity and solidarity. I hope that we can continue to live together under this flag, in this land, and be an example to the world. Holidays are important opportunities for unity and solidarity.” he said
AK Party Afyonkarahisar MPs Ali Özkaya, İbrahim Yurdunuseven, Hasan Arslan, MHP Afyonkarahisar MP Mehmet Taytak and Mayor Burcu Köksal also took part in the program to speak. In their speeches, deputies and mayors congratulated the participants and gave messages of unity and solidarity.
After the celebration ceremony, Governor Yiğitbaşı and the provincial protocol celebrated the holiday with the Provincial Police Department and Provincial Gendarmerie Command personnel. At the Air and Police Martyrs’ Cemetery, they left carnations on the graves of the martyrs and prayed.
