In a tragic incident in Kayseri, Syrian national Cüneyt Rahim (24) was shot in the head with a gun in his home. Rahim was seriously injured when his 5-year-old son BR accidentally fired a gun while playing in the living room of his house in Yenişehir District on June 22. Despite all the interventions made at Kayseri City Hospital, where he was taken after the incident , Rahim died 1 day later.
Kayseri Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation into the death of Rahim, whose body was buried in Erkilet Bülbülpınarı Cemetery after the incident. During the investigation, it was determined that Rahim’s son found the gun and accidentally fired it while playing.
The investigation into the incident is still ongoing and detailed investigation is ongoing.
