Conflict Between Car Robbery Suspects and Police in Sultanbeyli, Istanbul
In the incident that took place in the Sultanbeyli district of Istanbul, the suspects who escaped by stealing a car at gunpoint were followed by the police. The suspects tried to escape by opening fire on the police pursuing them. During the conflict, one suspect was caught injured and the other was taken to the police station.
The incident took place in Battalgazi District of Sultanbeyli district. Police teams detected two suspicious people running away with the hijacked vehicle and followed them. While escaping from the police vehicle, the robbers crashed into many vehicles and opened fire. Police teams found the hijacked vehicle in Ahmet Yesevi District. While the pursuit continued, there was a short-term conflict between the suspects and the police.
The police detained the suspect named ET who was injured and the other suspect named ED. The injured suspect was taken to hospital and it was stated that his life was not in danger. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Suspect Using Drugs in Metrobus Elevator Caught
The suspect named I.YP, whose images of using drugs in the elevator at Zincirlikuyu Metrobus Stop were shared on social media, was detained by narcotics teams. The suspect is being prosecuted for “using drugs” and “encouraging the use of drugs”.
