Condolence Message from President Erdoğan
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan sent a condolence message to the family of Gendarmerie Chief Warrant Officer Muhammet Kalaz, who was martyred in Şırnak.
According to the information received, Gendarmerie Chief Warrant Officer Muhammet Kalaz suddenly became ill during the search and screening activities carried out in the base area in Şırnak and was immediately taken to the hospital. However, despite all interventions, he unfortunately passed away.
President Erdoğan conveyed his condolences to Kalaz’s family and emphasized that the martyr’s precious memory will always be kept alive. Stating that the sacrifices made by our martyrs for the sake of the country will never be forgotten, Erdoğan stated that the unity and solidarity of the nation becomes even more important in such painful days.
On this occasion, we remember all our martyrs with mercy and wish patience to their families.
