8 citizens who lost their lives in the stubble fire in Mardin’s Mazıdağı district were buried with tears and laments. There is mourning for the citizens who lost their lives after being caught in the flames while responding to the fire that broke out last night in Mazıdağı and Diyarbakır’s Çınar district rural areas.
The bodies were handed over to their families after the autopsy performed at the Diyarbakır Forensic Medicine Institute. While the bodies of Resul Yılmaz and Şeyhmus Demir were buried in the morning, the funeral prayers of Mezher Demir, Sinan Deviren, Azat Yılmaz, Remzi Yılmaz, Hasan Demir and Saliha Demir were performed in the evening and they were buried in Yücebağ village amidst tears .
There is deep sadness in the region because of this painful incident. The importance of overcoming such pain together in unity and solidarity as a society is emphasized once again.
