CHP’s Starting Points
CHP Deputy Chairman Yalçın Karatepe will emphasize that the minimum wage should be increased by the inflation difference and demand that it be increased by adding a welfare share to pensions. He will also state that agricultural supports are insufficient and offer solutions.
Regarding tax justice, Karatepe will state that the weight of indirect taxes should be reduced and direct taxes such as corporate taxes should be increased. He will also state that PPP projects create a burden on the public and that the Wealth Fund should be liquidated over time.
In his statement on the issue, CHP leader Özgür Özel stated that “they will go to Mehmet Şimşek and show him where they can find the money” and emphasized their clear stance on economic policies.
