As a result of the renewed debate within the CHP, CHP Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan was referred to disciplinary proceedings due to his comments against the party’s former leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. Özcan’s statements against Kılıçdaroğlu caused tension within the party and led to the initiation of a disciplinary process.
