CHP Chairman Özgür Özel Attended Mehmet Güzgülü’s Funeral Ceremony
CHP Chairman Özgür Özel attended the funeral of Şehzadeler Municipality’s MHP Council Member and educator Mehmet Güzgülü, who passed away in the hospital where he was treated this morning. Özel expressed his condolences to the Güzgülü family and supported his son Aras Güzgülü.
His remains were carried by Özgür Özel and Cengiz Ergün
Mehmet Güzgülü’s body was buried in Kırtık Cemetery after the funeral prayer at Hatuniye Mosque. CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and former Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Cengiz Ergün carried Güzgülü’s body on their shoulders.
Who is Mehmet Güzgülü?
69-year-old educator Mehmet Güzgülü, an important name in Manisa, has been a council member in Manisa Metropolitan Municipality and Manisa Municipality for many years. He also served as Deputy Mayor of Manisa Metropolitan Municipality and Advisor to the Mayor. Güzgülü was elected as Şehzadeler Municipality Council Member from MHP in the 31 March Local Administrative Elections.
