The regulation regarding the procedures regarding drivers who pass without paying the toll on the highways under the responsibility of the General Directorate of Highways was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force. This change aims to ensure that services are carried out in a more transparent and effective manner.
New Decisions Concern Vehicle Owners
Among the published decisions, there is an important regulation for drivers who pass through toll booths illegally. Accordingly, no administrative fines will be collected from drivers who pay the toll within 15 days.
Tolls Redetermined
The “One Km motorway unit price” in the formula used to calculate tolls has now been increased from 0.25 lira to 1 lira. This change aims to determine motorway tolls in a more fair and balanced manner.
