Change of Duty in Izmir
Commissioner Yakuli, who was working at the Gürbulak Land Border Gate Branch Directorate in the Ağrı Police Department, was assigned to the İzmir Police Department. Commissioner Yakuli, who went to Izmir to rent a new house with his family, had an accident on his return journey.
Mother and Son Prepare for Their Final Journey
The bodies of Commissioner Hakan Yakuli and his mother Hümeyre Yakuli, who lost their lives in the accident, were brought to Erzurum by ambulance. Erzurum Governor Mustafa Çiftçi, Police Chief Kadir Yırtar and relatives attended the funeral prayer held at Narmanlı Mosque. After the prayer, the mother and son were sent off to be buried at Yeni Asri Cemetery.
The Pain of Separation
Kumru Yakuli, who survived the accident with injuries, was discharged from the hospital and attended her husband’s funeral. She responded to Governor Mustafa Çiftçi’s condolences by saying, “My condolences to you too. He loved you all very much. Hakan loved you all very much.” Shedding tears while hugging her husband’s photo, Kumru Yakuli expressed her pain from the heart.
Hakkı Yakuli, the father of Commissioner Yakuli, who was injured in the accident, is being treated in the hospital in Erzincan.
