Cash Aid Protocol Signed Between Saudi Arabia and Lebanon

 Suudi Arabistan ve Lübnan Arasında Nakdi Yardım Protokolü İmzalandı

According to the official Lebanese agency NNA, a cash aid protocol was signed between the King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Works Center and the Lebanese High Relief Committee in the capital Beirut upon the invitation of Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Beirut, Walid Bukhari, and with the participation of Lebanese Prime Minister Naguib Mikati.

  • Regarding the cooperation between the two institutions, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Beirut, Bukhari, stated that joint activities will be carried out to implement approximately 28 projects in various regions of Lebanon.
  • Saudi Arabia will provide a financial contribution of $10 million to these projects.
  • Prime Minister Mikati stressed that Saudi Arabia’s support is of great importance for Lebanon’s re-development and expressed his wish for continued cooperation.
  • Mikati stated that the strong brotherly relations between the two countries have deepened and become more deep-rooted, and that Saudi Arabia has always stood by Lebanon.
