Call to Kamala Harris for Gaza
According to Chicago-based WTTW, the crowd gathered on Michigan Avenue to deliver a message to Vice President Kamala Harris and her Democratic Party candidate in the upcoming elections on November 5. The participants drew attention to the ongoing Israeli attacks and emphasized the need to end the war in Gaza immediately.
Carrying signs reading “Free Gaza,” supporters called on Harris to take more effective steps to protect Gazans. Andy Clarno, who attended the march with his 7-year-old son, expressed his sensitivity on the issue by saying, “Palestine must be free.”
The march ended peacefully, with participants sending a strong message of solidarity by chanting “Free Palestine.”
