Giving Hope to Orphans: Studies in Syria
Coordinator of the Foundation’s Syria Studies Reyhanlı Regional Office Zeki TahirogluHe stated that cash aid activities for orphans living under difficult living conditions in different parts of Syria continue. Tahiroğlu emphasized that thanks to this aid, the education, health and shelter needs of the orphans are met.
Tahiroğlu made the following statements in his statement: “We distributed social cash aid to 29,321 orphans living in rural areas of Syria’s Idlib and Aleppo provinces. This aid will help children meet many of their basic needs. We carry out distribution operations regularly.”
Tahiroğlu stated that the devastating effects of the war in Syria affected orphans the most, “We are making great efforts to heal the wounds of orphans and give them hope. This social cash aid work is carried out within the framework of the Orphan Sponsorship System run by our foundation. We thank our benefactors who contribute to the delivery of this aid every month.”He spoke as follows.
