Balcony Accident in Güzeltepe Neighborhood
A tragic incident occurred in the evening hours on 565th Street in Güzeltepe Neighborhood. 32-year-old EC lost his balance and fell from his third-floor balcony, sustaining serious injuries. Neighborhood residents who were shocked by the incident stated that EC first hit the metal sheet on the ground floor balcony and then fell to the dirt ground.
Following the incident, medical teams and police were immediately dispatched to the scene upon notification to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Seriously injured, EC was carried to the ambulance on a stretcher by medical personnel. After emergency intervention, the injured person was taken to the High Specialization Hospital. It was reported that EC, who was taken under treatment, was not in mortal danger.
Kadir Dinç, one of the witnesses of the incident, described what happened with the following words: “EC fell on the sheet metal. He landed softly. The height was quite high; if it hadn’t been for the sheet metal, it could have been worse. He landed softly because of the sheet metal. The distance between the sheet metal and the ground was about one and a half meters, which saved his life.”
