Ayvalık Municipality Cleaning Affairs Directorate teams worked devotedly during Eid al-Adha and managed to collect 3 thousand 660 tons of garbage. Ayvalık, whose population is approaching a million with visitors from all over the country and abroad, was meticulously cleaned by cleaning teams.
A team of 103 people working in Ayvalık center, Cunda (Alibey) Island, Altınova, Sarımsaklı and the general Ayvalık region collected garbage by working in 3 shifts during the four-day holiday. In addition to collecting garbage, the team created a hygienic environment by washing the containers and carried out disinfection works in places where vehicles cannot enter.
Thanks to this devoted work, Ayvalık Municipality Cleaning Affairs Directorate protected the health of visitors and local people by ensuring the cleanliness of the city in the best possible way during the holiday.
