Addressing the Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç and the Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya, Ayşe Ateş emphasized the seriousness of the threats and said, “Don’t you see what is coming? Consider what they wrote as a report. If you have proof, “let it present it, otherwise do what is legally necessary.” Ateş called on the authorities to ensure security and justice.
Reaction to Burak Bekiroğlu’s Deleted Posts
After Burak Bekiroğlu deleted his social media posts after the threats, Ayşe Ateş called out Bekiroğlu harshly. “There is no way to escape from the judiciary by deleting the post. From now on, you will be held accountable,” said Ateş, adding that the search for justice will continue and that he will fight to ensure that the law is enforced.
