Entrepreneur Aylin Kalafatoğlu’s Agriculture Adventure

Entrepreneur Aylin Kalafatoğlu decided to operate in the agricultural sector with her husband 10 years ago. As a first step, she started her adventure in this field by establishing an aronia garden with an investment of 100 thousand dollars. Kalafatoğlu, who entered the market with the Dr. Aronia brand in 2022, conducted R&D studies on the high antioxidant values ​​of the aronia fruit, which is considered a source of health and healing. Thanks to these efforts, she managed to make a name for herself in the sector with many innovative products.

The brand, which set out with the slogan “From planting to harvest, from harvest to table,” aims to reach a wide customer base by offering various products containing 100% aronia. The product range includes options such as 100% aronia juice, aronia vinegar, aronia salt, dried aronia fruit, aronia honey, jam, marmalade, Turkish coffee and aronia tea.

Aylin Kalafatoğlu stated that they aimed to transform aronia into a form that everyone can easily consume. “We are turning the dried fruit into a product that everyone can easily add to their daily eating routine by using 100% aronia content so that those who cannot drink fruit juice can consume it as vinegar or tea/coffee,” she said. Kalafatoğlu stated that aronia tea received the most innovative diet product award among the products they have offered so far, and added, “In addition, aronia honey, aronia extract and aronia salt were among the first three products that made it to the finals as the “most innovative product components.”

Aylin Kalafatoğlu emphasized that the products are prepared by an expert staff.
