Aylin Cesur announced in a statement on her social media account that she has ended her membership in the İYİ Party. Cesur included the following statements in her statement:
“Dear İYİ Party members, as of today, I have terminated my İYİ Party membership. I would like to thank all my valuable İYİ Party friends with whom I have worked since the day I became a member of the İYİ Party, all the members of the organization who set out to ‘make Turkey better’ and worked wholeheartedly with us to contribute to our country’s struggle for democracy and development, our dear youth, women and party volunteer friends, İYİ Party Founding Chairwoman Meral Akşener and all party founders, and I wish success and well-being to İYİ Party Chairwoman Ms. Müsavat Dervişoğlu and her administration, İYİ Party organizations that are still on duty and party members who are not on duty.”
Aylin Cesur served as the personal physician and chief advisor to the 9th President Süleyman Demirel. Cesur, who also served as the chief advisor to the 11th President Abdullah Gül, served as a member of the General Administrative Board of the İYİ Party and as the 27th Term Isparta MP.
