In a successful operation carried out by gendarmerie teams in Aydın’s Didim district, an important step was taken against drug use and trafficking. Gendarmerie teams, who waged a determined fight against poison traffickers, carried out an effective operation against people in possession of drugs.
Didim District Gendarmerie Command teams confiscated drugs and paraphernalia during the search of 6 people named ME, MH, KS, PK, HK and NS, whom they stopped due to their suspicious behavior. In the tests carried out at the health institution, it was determined that the individuals were using drugs, and the necessary legal proceedings were initiated against them.
Gendarmerie teams’ fight against drugs throughout Aydın continues uninterruptedly. The gendarmerie, working day and night for the peace and security of the public, does not tolerate drug trade and use. With such operations carried out for the sake of public health and safety, an important step is taken in the fight against drugs.
