Cide district, one of the unique beauties of Kastamonu, has taken its place among the popular destinations for the Eid al-Adha holiday. The district, with a population of 22 thousand, has become a spot where holidaymakers enjoy both the sea and nature.
This year, visitors who wanted to spend the holiday in their hometown or have a pleasant holiday flocked to the Cide district. Citizens who came to the district during the 9-day holiday found peace in the lap of nature while cooling off in the sea. Some holidaymakers visited the unique plateaus of the district and enjoyed nature.
Due to the holiday intensity, bus companies providing transportation to Cide district also worked at full capacity and served visitors. However, companies that had difficulty keeping up with the increasing demand made intense efforts to ensure the satisfaction of holidaymakers.
“We even had to wait 15 minutes to cross the road.”
Ersin Yavuz, who came to Cide for the Eid holiday, stated that the district is a place they visit with pleasure every year and said: “Cide district is the place we come to every year. The density increases every year. It is busier than previous years. We even had to wait 15 minutes to cross the road.” It is a very beautiful place with its nature. Even though the wind does not allow for sea tourism, the sea is also very beautiful. It is the place where green and blue meet. Since it is a small town, there is a lot of traffic. “It’s a place to come and visit. I recommend everyone to have a holiday here at least once.”
