The accident took place in the Gömeç village location on the Kastamonu-Taşköprü highway. Tayfun A., who was driving a Honda car with license plate 34 EEL 382, lost control of the steering wheel and crashed into the median. The car, which was thrown by the impact of the vehicle, rolled over and was dragged for about 50 meters. The driver and his son Mehmet A. were injured in the accident.
The injured, who received first aid by the medical teams arriving at the scene, were referred to Kastamonu Training and Research Hospital. The gravel and vehicle parts scattered on the road after the accident were cleaned by the Highways teams after an hour of work.
