The tragic story of Ubeydullah and Abdurrahman Buğdaycı, who were among the 14 people who lost their lives in the fire between Çınar district and Mardin’s Mazıdağı district, was heartbreaking. Hatip Çelebioğlu explained the painful incident with the following words: “Ubeydullah tried to bring the sheep trapped in the flames. His nephew Abdurrahman said that his uncle was alone and went to save him. While Abdurrahman was trying to leave, his other cousins ​​​​Barely held him and tried to prevent him from leaving. Şehmus Demir, Mazhar Demir, Taliha Demir, Nuri Demir, Rezan Yılmaz, Azad Yılmaz, Resul Yılmaz, Remzi Yılmaz, Abdurrahman Buğdaycı, Ubeydullah Buğdaycı, İsmail Yardımcı, Sinan Deviren, Kerime Erdenli and Fadıl Demir lost their lives in the fire that started on the night of June 20. 78 people were injured in the fire and 3 people are still receiving treatment.
