Temporary Military Security Zone Declared in Rural Areas of Gercüş District
Between 22 June and 6 July, certain rural areas of Gercüş district were declared a temporary military security zone.

According to the written statement made by the Governorship, temporary military security zone status has been given to certain areas of Gercüş district, which is within the responsibility area of Batman Provincial Gendarmerie Command. During this period, entry and exit to the region will be subject to permission.
The details stated in the statement are as follows:
- East of Yakaköy in the north, Amaşema Hill, Korkabaniya Hill, Hanemir Hill, Bermika Hill
- In the east, west of Guharamehir Hill, west of Diyanigörgiş Hill, Ardabahli Hill, west of Kernaraza Hill
- North and Northwest of Aydınca Village, Hasanora Hill, North of Dereiçi Village, Berharame Hill in the South.
- A temporary military security zone has been declared in the parts of the land between the north of Kelkeşahmes Ridge in the west, the east of Bahrek Creek, the east of Guharaciyaka Hill, the east of Miske Creek and Hanemir Hill.
Our citizens are prohibited from entering the specified area without permission between 22 June and 6 July. Penal action will be taken against those who do not comply with this ban, in accordance with Article 66 of the Provincial Administration Law No. 5442.
