Kuşadası Municipality accelerated the maintenance work on the beaches and started detailed cleaning operations throughout the city. Within the scope of these works, cleaning and arrangement activities were carried out on the beaches starting from the center of Kuşadası and including the Davutlar and Güzelçamlı regions.
With the protocol signed between Kuşadası District Governorate and Municipality, the responsibility for the maintenance, cleaning and operation of 401 thousand 12 square meters of beaches throughout the city for 10 years was transferred to Kuşadası Municipality. In this context, Mayor Ömer Günel decided to make sun loungers and umbrellas free of charge on public beaches and received positive reactions from the residents and visitors of the region.
Municipal teams started the maintenance work on the beaches early in the morning and meticulously cleared them of elements such as grass, garbage, stones and algae. The teams of the Directorate of Cleaning Affairs, the Directorate of Parks and Gardens and the Directorate of Technical Affairs worked in coordination to ensure that the beaches were ready for the summer season.
Kuşadası Municipality stated that it will continue maintenance work on the beaches throughout the tourism season without interruption and will take all necessary precautions to ensure that visitors have a pleasant time.
