The fire that occurred in Aydin’s Çine district was taken under control with rapid intervention. The fire, which started at noon in Halaçlar District, affected 30 decares of olive grove area.
Although a clear cause of the incident has not yet been determined, Aydın Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department and Forest Management Directorate teams intervened in the fire that broke out in the olive grove in a short time. 8 water tankers, 2 water tankers and 50 personnel from the land and 2 helicopters and 2 planes from the air took part in the firefighting.
While the fire was taken under control as a result of the coordinated work of the teams, unfortunately 30 decares of olive grove area was damaged. Cooling efforts are carried out meticulously by the teams.
