The fire that occurred in Besinli village of Hafik district of Sivas caused 5 plateau houses in the region to become unusable. It is estimated that the incident occurred in a single-storey highland house and was caused by the stove. The rapidly growing fire spread to other plateau houses, but was brought under control with the intervention of the teams.
Upon the notice of fire, AFAD, Hafik Forest Management Directorate teams and fire brigades were dispatched to the scene. While the fire was extinguished thanks to the coordinated work of the teams, damage assessment work began on the damaged plateau houses.
As a result of the meticulous work carried out by AFAD teams, the condition of the houses affected by the fire will be determined, necessary precautions will be taken and efforts will continue to minimize the damage.
