Filyos Pier Danger
In Filyos town of Zonguldak’s Çaycuma district, young people risked their lives by going to the scaffolding, which was banned by Filyos Municipality. Young people who tried to go to the pier, which was banned by the municipality and imposed a fine of 1,500 TL, ignored the warnings and took the risk.
While the incident was watched with astonishment by other citizens around, the young people continued to climb the scaffolding determinedly. Although they were not allowed to go up the pier because it was dangerous, young people tried to violate the prohibitions without paying attention to the warnings.
Despite the warnings of the citizens, the young people stood on the pier for a while and finally realized the danger around them and left the pier. This incident once again revealed the dangers that the careless behavior of young people can cause.
