Fire Destroyed Dry Grass in Gölbaşı
The fire, which occurred in Gölbaşı district, Peynik Village, Göl Kuzu area, destroyed a 10-decare field belonging to a citizen and disturbed the surrounding residents. While the cause of the incident has not yet been determined, great efforts were made to extinguish the rapidly spreading flames.
While the villagers made the first intervention to the fire, which grew in a short time due to the influence of the wind, Gölbaşı Municipality Fire Department and Forest Management Chief teams were dispatched to the scene. As a result of the coordinated work of the teams, the fire was taken under control and extinguished before it spread to the forest area.
While the investigation into the cause of the fire is currently ongoing, the effects of the incident and the damages caused are continuing to be examined.
