Istanbul Bar Association proudly celebrates the 105th anniversary of the Amasya Circular, which laid the foundations of the Republic of Turkey. The Amasya Circular was one of the first steps of the nation’s struggle for independence and revealed the will for full independence based on national sovereignty.
On the anniversary of the Amasya Circular, which is a critical turning point in Turkey’s liberation process, as the Istanbul Bar Association, we would like to emphasize once again the importance of our national heritage. This historical document, written under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, symbolizes the Turkish nation’s passion for independence and freedom.
On the 105th anniversary of the Amasya Circular, we once again remember the courage and determination of the people who rebelled for the freedom of the occupied country. We will continue to work to pass on this important legacy to future generations and to protect the independence values of the Republic of Turkey.
As the Istanbul Bar Association, on the 105th anniversary of the Amasya Circular, we reiterate our belief in national sovereignty and independence and share with the public our belief that the will of the nation will always prevail.
