An emotional farewell ceremony was held for 28-year-old police officer Basri Ünüvar, who died due to respiratory failure in Eskişehir. Ünüvar was treated at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Health Practice and Research Hospital on May 21, but could not be saved despite all efforts.
Farewell Ceremony and Farewell to Adana
At the ceremony held in the garden of Eskişehir Provincial Police Department, Ünüvar’s CV was read, Quran recitation and prayers were made. Provincial Police Chief Yaman Ağırlar expressed his condolences to Ünüvar’s family and relatives. After the ceremony, the police officer’s body was sent to his hometown, Kozan district of Adana.
Final Farewell and Burial Process
It was learned that Ünüvar’s body will be buried tomorrow after the funeral prayer in Kozan following the noon prayer. Provincial Police Chief Ağırlar once again expressed his condolences to Ünüvar’s family and colleagues at the ceremony.
